How export verification works

Every export is archived at creation
When an Audit-IQ user generates a compliance export, the file is archived immediately and a SHA-256 hash of the file bytes is stored in an immutable record. The file cannot be modified after this point.

The hash is shown on the export
The SHA-256 hash appears at the bottom of every Audit-IQ export. It also appears in the platform's export history for the generating organisation.

You verify independently
Paste the hash here. Audit-IQ checks it against the archive index. A match confirms the file you received is byte-for-byte identical to what was generated — no one has modified it in transit or after the fact.

No account required
Any external auditor, regulator, or reviewer can verify a hash without creating an Audit-IQ account or contacting the generating organisation.
